TOP 10 LIST OF AWSOMNESS

You know what lets just make today full of new music and great films that are coming out soon shall we?

Ok so I was on YouTube earlier today (as I usually am) and as I was watching some of the channels and vlogs which usually interest me and I started to think "Aren't there any new films coming out soon?" So I started to look and here's what I found

THE TOP 10 LIST OF AWSOMENESS!

No.10
Wholly F**K Donald Faison from Scrubs is in a movie??? Although this film has had well lets just say a 'mixed' response I still think that it has potential. I think the mixed responses came when we realised we only really knew one of the actors in it but wait, what about District 9? That had loads of new actors and that did ok right?

No.9
Finally after a hugely long time the dogfighting action game is finally set for release on PS3. Even though Tom Clancy's HAWX beat them to it I still think that this game will be sure to out sell anything else in this category of games and with the amount of features its supposed to have I reckon this will be one to look out for in the future

No.8
Ok ok ok i get it most of you won't like them but I do so there! Emerging at the end of 2009 with only a few songs and only the power of YouTube to help them this band have sure made it in the music world. Their 2010 album 'We Stitch These Wounds' shot to the top of the US Billboard Independent Album charts at an amazing place of number 1 and they are set to completely rip up the British metal festival Download later on this year.

No.7
Dubbed the next big thing this (believe it or not) is sony's next wonderful creation. The NGP boast outstanding game play graphics similar to that of the PS3 (yeah I know.) As well a amazing graphics it is also said to have wifi, 3G and bluetooth connectivity, two touchscreens, two cameras and two joysticks. This Will be coming out later on towards the end of the year and will be a great present for Christmas.

No.6
I'm not really one for anything apart from Sony which is why I would never buy an Ipod or Ipad but this has caught my eye and I'm even thinking about giving this a go. Using the 'New' Stereoscopic 3D screen this will be the first device to be 3D WITHOUT the need of those uncomfortable glasses. I haven't tried it out yet but that's mainly because it isn't even out yet, hopefully soon I should be able to have a go for myself

No.5
For years I have wanted to g to this historic event but every year i miss it simply because of the ridiculous price of the tickets. At £180 for a 5 day pass it seems music fans are just getting ridiculously rich but this year that whopping price doesn't really sound that bad when you see who is playing. With the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, System Of A Down, Linkin Park, Rob Zombie and of course Black Veil Bride who I mentioned earlier it seems that this event will be the best Download festival in many years.

No.4
Do I have to say anymore after seeing that? This will be a sure thing that is going to knock Modern Warfare off the top spot for first person shooter games and rightly so I mean I was blown away when I saw it and definitely knew what I was going to buy next.

No.3
With only two listed actors and all the effects done on a Mac that they had when they were filming this is sure to be one of the cheapest GOOD films to be made. Set in America it stars two people one who is a journalist and one who is a tourist who get stuck in Mexico and have to cross over to the USA when aliens who have been there for a few years have finally got their own place. sounds like a good film to me but just like skyline this has had mixed reviews but its still one to look out for.

No.2
With a hell of a lot more money than Monsters this film is set where instead of aliens landing and co-existing they decide to do what they're best at and rip shit up in this movie that although boasting amazing special effects looks like it has been done way to often. still if I can I'm still going to see it.

No.1
Yes finally after almost 5 years the legendary Nu-Metalers System Of A Down have finally got back together and if we keep out fingers crossed hopefully we should be hearing some new material from them in the next year. The reason these guys are at the top of my list is that this was the bad that got me into the music that I like today and hopefully if i get enough money I should be seeing them at Download 2011 here is what I think is one of their best songs they have ever written and just has EVERYTHING a great Metal song should have.
Enjoy.

Viral Friday - Iron Maiden School and Amazing Space Shuttle Footage

Straight into the world of viral videos in this piece of news where a video was posted onto YouTube of schoolchildren from Wattville Primary school in Birmingham singing some descent music for once.
The song in question is classic rock band Iron Maiden's song "Flight of Icarus" and we can all say it's a lot better than all this manufactured R'n'B crap that hits the radio like a bug hits the windshield. The main reason of this wonderful video being posted is that it is part of Kerrang's Cash For Kids charity that supports underprivileged children across Birmingham and the west of England. The great thing about this is that although it was only posted on Tuesday it has already got well over 12,000 video views and has over 280 'likes'.

See for yourself here:

From one YouTube hit to another only this time it was shot over sunny Florida. The video shot by one of the passengers of a commercial flight shows the Space Shuttle Discovery taking off on its final flight. At first all you see is a tiny spec as something breaks through the clouds only to be amazed for the next 2 minutes as you see the historic event take place. The voyage is set to be Discovery's last after 27 years of service to NASA.

A lucky escape

Wow, what a day I've had.
Enough about me lets see what weird news there is today shall we?

So apart from all of these UFO records that have come out today which i wont talk about simply because it would take to long (I'll give links) there have been some pretty weird stories come out today such as this:

News has come from China of a man called Mr Ni who 'for four years' had a blade lodged in his head. First off how lucky do you have to be for it to be there for FOUR years without it causing any damage? The story goes that once upon a time he was fighting off a robber when the man stabbed him in the head. After the incident he started complaining of many discomforts such as headaches. I don't know what was going through this guys mind when he got stabbed but he must have noticed that the robber had a much smaller dagger after he had just stabbed Mr Ni in the head. When Ni finally contacted the hospital they couldn't find anything. he supposedly went in a number of times complaining of bleeding from the mouth, difficulty swallowing and occasionally talking nonsense but still they didn't find the cause (And people think the British NHS is a crap service LOL JK it's ok.) Finally after four years he went in after he thought he had an ear disease. almost everyone was baffled when the scans came out which you can see in this video:
Wow

Now then more scary than weird news from back home in Cornwall where an apparition of the virgin Mary has appeared in the cliff side of the southern town, captured by two tourists Caroline and Stephen Gray they insist that when they took the photo there was nothing there at all. 'Creepy'. Things like this always scare me, I don't know why they just do but it's always kind of creepy when something (or someone) appears in a photograph who shouldn't be or wasn't there.

Goldylocks and the creepy dream :)

Hmm apparently I can control peoples dreams, Cool.
Yeah so my friend came up to me earlier saying that after reading one of my earlier posts where i mentioned the devil (Justin Beiber) she then had a dream about him, Yeah I know what you're thinking. That's one hell of a creepy dream.

So what's the one thing you shouldn't do when you're robbing someones house?
Tell Facebook?
Brag about it?
Sleep?

So one guy from Malaysia has been sentenced to five years in prison for breaking into a house after the homeowner returned to find him asleep in their bed. This is definitely in for the weirdest story of the day simply because of how stupid you would have to be to do this. When the police arrived he attempted to run away but was soon caught. I'm still wondering what was going though this guys head when he broke in.

Now news has come from Chongqing in China of quite honestly one of the weirdest driving accident I've ever seen. The car crashed through the second story of a car par after the driver apparently got the break pedal and the accelerator 'mixed up'. If you've seen the image it's actually quite scary as the car is perched half way through the wall and could have at any moment fallen out. Thankfully the male driver and female passenger were seen to be climbing out of the car unhurt.

Carlie Sheen and the 'Good' samaritan

Delving straight into the weird news today and less weird more just down right stupid today as Charlie Sheen had 'Demanded' a pay rise to a whopping THREE MILLION dollars per episode of 'Two And A Half Men' saying the two million that he used to get per episode simply wasn't enough.
(No prizes for guessing what he's planning to spend the extra million per episode on.)
This is just one of them stories which makes me think "Is he all there???" I'm no actor myself but if I even got half of what he used to get per episode i would be just great with that, but then again i would be more cautious in spending my money.
He has again denied using drugs as well as saying that he was not violent with women and that he has never turned up on set drunk.
Ok Charlie if that's what you say.

Now to a more innocent story of police man Officer Myers in Florida who did the good deed of helping a family of ducks cross a road after he discovered the group stuck in the middle of the road near an overpass. With the help of a concerned pedestrian he got out of his patrol car to help them get where they needed to go.

Bad Dog, Bad!

If you read the last post I was worrying about school work (as most people do) but good and bad news:

GOOD: The network was back up today and I started getting work done that I needed to so hopefully Tuesday will be all good.

BAD: The people who I've been trying to get hold of for my Media project haven't got back to me so I still don't know what's going to happen with that.

GOOD: To help me relax I made probably the best cup of Hot Chocolate ever. :)
'Yum'

After that it was time to find some weird news stories and the first of these is the story of a dog who bit off a bit more than they could chew.

When Karen Woolley lost her diamond ring the last place she would have thought it would be was in her dog. But with the help of a handy metal detector Karen eventually found it, inside her six-month old puppy, Barney. After an operation to get the 100 year old ring out Barney was sent home where he is said to be making a speedy recovery.

Keeping with the theme of animals news has come out of a Golden Eagle that has been photographed 'snatching' a quick lunch over the Scottish mountainside.
The picture was taken by a local birdwatcher who does not want to be named.
This is certainly one of the more 'Breathtaking' photos I've seen today.

Controversial Sunday

Sunday is finally here, and I'm still stuck at home desperately trying to get onto my School network to finish my coursework. Every time i try to get onto the site I'm met with the same 'Page cannot be displayed' message and I swear I'm gonna go crazy if I can't get onto it tomorrow as that's the last day i have to get all this done.

Now onto the two news stories so firstly when i was told about this story in particular I was just shocked. Kind of like one of those 'WTF' moments where you think "No way, that's just not real" but i looked it up and yep I'm sorry to say YES IT IS!
It just boggles the mind when you think about it like "WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MINDS WOULD THINK OF THIS!"
Ok so the story is that people are going to have the chance to appeal against being put on the sex offenders list.
This is just wrong and I really can't think of any good that is gonna come out of this I mean it begs you to think "What is this world coming to?" To be honest I think that if you are caught and are put on this list then you shouldn't have the right to appeal and you shouldn't have the same human rights as the rest of the public.
But that's just my opinion.
Read the official story here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12476979

The second news story I've come across today has been that world-wide auto-tuned 'sensation' (If you can call him that) has had his hair put up on the auction site EBay. There have been 65 bids and the price stands at a truly sickening $12,000
The one good think I can see about this is that the money will go to the Gentle Barn Foundation

If you seriously want to bid for this somewhat creepy item then just click here!

Now I'm off to try and get that work done, lets just hope it all goes well. :)
