100th Blog (Should Have Been Yesterday)

Heyy everyone,

OH MY GOD!

But anyway yes finally I hit 100 posts and YES I missed yesterday BUT I have a good explanation for it, I really do.

I spent most of my free time worrying about my college interview that ran straight through when I was supposed to post yesterday BUT it was not quite what I had expected it to be. When I got the letter confirming the interview date I broke into a cold sweat as it listed all of the important things I needed to do and bring, most of them I didn't have such as grades and achievements. What I had to do also made me worry as it stated I would have to take part in a "formal jam session" but when I arrived it was just this tiny room filled with about 10 others, a few amps and 2 teachers. we were asked a few questions about what our interests are and then we just played a song each to show what we could do.

There was no formal jam session just an hour to ourselves trying out different styles and just talking to each other (Or shouting because of the amps and drums)

After that it was off to busk in the street with a few awesome people I met whilst I was there and then off to get kicked out of McDonald's

So yeah that was the reason there was no blog yesterday.

A Bit Of Motavation For Me, And You I Guess

Heyy everyone,

Well today was boring, still getting away with wearing my own clothes instead of this stupid dress code we have at our school. We're in year 12 and we STILL have to come to school in what the teachers say.

Apart from getting a little pissed off at the school as many people do I started to think about my college interview that should be coming up soon 'If I ever hear from them again' So the past few days I've been thinking about songs that I can learn that show off my capabilities and also have a lot of techniques and 1 that caught my attention was a song that I attempted not so long back 'and inevitably failed at'.

Trashed and Scattered by U.S. rockers Avenged Sevenfold (Possibly the greatest band ever and 1 of my all time favorites). As soon as I started learning the fast paced intro all of my fears came back but I pressed on redoing sections over and over again until they were stuck in my head never to escape. After completing half of the song I started to feel a lot more confident not just with the song but with my playing in general and as I soldiered on the song just seemed to get easier to play and more enjoyable.

I guess what I'm trying to get at with this short post is that when you put your mind to it and you ACTUALLY try your very best you can achieve more than you first thought. Also DON'T worry about feeling a bit selfish when you're trying to get IMPORTANT things done, whoever said other people come first is WRONG (Just think about that last bit before jumping to conclusions OK)

Where am I?

Heyy everyone,

For a moment there I thought the PlayStation network was up, but then i got the same boring screen as I usually did as I sank back into my bad Sunday mood, BOOO!!

So as I've got nothing much to talk about I guess lets see how the Second blog is shaping up. Well, S**T really I've gotten so far with it and at the moment I'm trying so hard not to ruin it by saying too much but I really want to keep people updated with what's going on as I really want as many FOLLOWERS as I can get before I start up the story which at the moment looks 'ok' I guess.

So I haven't gotten as far with it as I had planned but DON'T WORRY everything is ok and I'm not just going to throw the whole thing away (Partly because this story was the whole reason the starting up a blog anyway)
